Rules and scoring
These rules apply to every league. Categories are mutually exclusive unless a bonus is explicitly stated.
Group-stage matches
Only the highest matching result scores. Maximum: 6 points.
- Exact score: 6 points.
- Correct result and goal difference: 4 points.
- Correct win, draw, or loss only: 3 points.
- Correct goals for one team only: 1 point.
- Wrong result: 0 points.
Knockout matches
Scores use the result after extra time. Shootout goals do not count. Pick a penalty winner only when your predicted score is a draw.
- Exact score and correct winner: 8 points.
- Correct winner and goal difference: 5 points.
- Correct winner only: 4 points.
- Wrong winner: 0 points.
Tournament bonus picks
Exact top scorer earns 12 points; a rank-two or rank-three scorer earns 5. Exact team with most goals earns 10; rank two or three earns 4.
Goal rankings are dense and include ties. A rank-one pick receives only the exact award.
Locks, visibility, and ranking
Predictions cannot be changed at or after their server-enforced lock. Other participants cannot see an unlocked prediction.
Leaderboard order is total points, then more exact scores, then more correct results. Fully tied participants share a rank using competition ranking.
